Durri Child and Family Health program

“For the children” (aged 6wks to 14yrs)
Primary Health care for children aged from 6 weeks to 14 years old.

The Child Health Program (6 weeks to 14yrs) provides a holistic service in collaboration with the entire Durri, Maternal, Child and Family health team, families’, and carers to promote optimal health, growth, and development for the individual client and to support the extended family.
Durri Child Health Program Aims to:
- Support families in their role to optimise the health, wellbeing and development of the infant, child, and teen.
- Identify as early as possible, clients who may have developmental or other health concerns to ensure early referral to specialist services.
- Identify as early as possible those parents, families and children who may require additional support to promote optimal physical, social, and emotional development.
- Improve the health outcomes for individuals by enabling timely access to appropriate services and supports.
Durri Child Health Program provides:
– Universal health screening, Blue Book checks and comprehensive health assessments
– Immunisation services
– Monthly Paediatrician clinics
– Support to families to optimise the health, wellbeing, and development of babies, children, and teenagers.
